COMMREADSThe 2014 Community Reads book selection is We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by New York Times bestselling author Karen Joy Fowler. In this curious, wonderfully intelligent novel, Fowler brings to life a most unusual American middle-class family, ordinary in every way but one. This is a tale of loving but fallible people whose well-intentioned actions lead to heartbreaking consequences. Book discussions and events are scheduled at five participating libraries: Northville, Novi, Salem-South Lyon, Wixom and Lyon Township beginning September 20 and culminating in the author visit on Tuesday, November 18.
