Kids! Get Hooked on Books!
Enjoy reading books during March is Reading Month and earn a fun prize. Open to all kids preschool age through 6th grade. Visit the Information Desk for your reading log.

2014 Income Tax Information

Due to recent funding cuts at the IRS, many of the forms available in past years will no longer be sent to the library. Only Forms 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ will be mailed to us. No instructions will be available for these forms. We will also receive one set of reproducible forms and Publication 17, which can be copied for $.10 per page.

The federal tax forms are in and the Michigan tax forms and instructions are in.

The government asks taxpayers to file online or visit the IRS site:, where you can download and print copies of forms and instructions. You may also request forms and publications to be mailed to you by ordering them online:, or by calling 1-800-829-3676.

State tax forms and publications can be found online at Michigan's State Tax site.

The Northville Community Center offers free tax form preparation through AARP Tax-Aide, on Thursdays from February 5 - April 9, by appointment only. Call 248-305-2851 for an appointment.
