Policy on Freedom of Information Act

The Northville District Library will ensure that all persons are granted full and complete information regarding the affairs of the Northville District Library as provided by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCLA 15.231 et. Seq.

The Library Director shall be designated the Northville District Library FOIA Coordinator.

FOIA requests shall be processed according to the requirements of MCLA 15.231 et.seq.

The library may charge a fee for copying, search, examination, review or redaction of public records, as allowed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act.
