Policy on Disposal of Furniture, Equipment, and Supplies

The Northville District Library will dispose of usable excess furniture, equipment, and supplies in one of the following ways:

•    Sale to other libraries, companies, or individuals for the best price that can reasonably be obtained.
•    Donation to other governmental agencies within the District Library service area.
•    Donation to an appropriate charitable agency if the item cannot be sold.
