Policy on Budget

The Northville District Library operates under a Board-approved written budget which supports the library’s mission and goals. This budget is developed annually through a cooperative process involving the Board’s Finance Committee, the Library Director, and additional staff members with responsibility for budgetary elements.

The Library follows fiscal and accounting procedures consistent with state law and GASB standards for municipal accounting. All library funds, expenditures, and revenues are audited annually.
