  Valuable resource for current information on the art world. Features a series of timely stories covering a variety of art-related news and events internationally. Updated weekly.

• Detroit Institute of Arts
  A guide to its collections, featured exhibitions, special events and visitor information.

• Google Art Project
• Provides virtual tours of 17 major museums and access to hundreds of artworks, at incredible zoom levels, by 400 artists.

• NASA Images
  Created through a partnership between NASA and the Internet Archive; contains everything from classic photos to educational programming and HD video. Contains more than 13,500 unique images.

• National Gallery of Art
  Search images of its extensive collections of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts.

• NYPL Digital Gallery
  Over 700,000 images from the The New York Public Library's vast collections, including illuminated manuscripts, historical maps, vintage posters, rare prints, photographs and more.
