    United Way 2-1-1 is a multi-lingual, comprehensive information and referral service available 24/7/365, with a database of more than 20,000 programs and services such as after school programs, senior care services, medical and prescription assistance, credit counseling and mortgage foreclosure assistance, and housing and utility resources.

  • A nationwide non-profit consumer credit counseling service that has been helping people resolve financial problems and get relief from debt since 1961. In Farmington Hills, with Branch offices throughout Michigan.
  • Making Home Affordable
    This Federal government site offers information about refinancing and loan modification.
  • Michigan Helping Hand
    This site helps Michigan citizens facing economic hardship find the services they need. Includes five catgories for links to information about jobs and training, unemployment benefits, health care, family support and housing.
  • Michigan: Save the Dream
    MSHDA's Save the Dream Campaign includes information for homeowners who are experiencing financial difficulties or facing foreclosure, including our statewide network of homeownership counselors, a second mortgage program to assist current MSHDA borrowers, and refinance programs available to eligible homeowners.
